In the kitchen we replaced the cabinets, flooring, and countertops. We saved money by keeping the existing appliances and layout, replacing a wall of upper cabinets with open shelving. The bathrooms were given new life with new tiled floors and shiplap accent walls. The carpeting on the stairs were replaced with budget-friendly pine treads. Front steps were added to the exterior to bring it up to code, and the garage doors were replaced with wood-look vinyl ones. New paint, new shutters, and light landscaping finished off this design.

The home sold for $264,900.

The renovation budget included refinishing original oak flooring, tiling the sink floor and backsplash, installing all wood cabinets, quartz countertops, all new appliances, and lighting.
